This family reserve Extra Virgin Olive Oil was harvested between October 20-24 from a previously abandoned grove nicknamed Balatro, with a NE exposure, and an elevation of 544 feet, near the town of Antella in Tuscany.
This is a reserve blend of Frantoio, Leccini, and Moraiolo cultivars.
Olfactory (smell) notes include vegetables and herbs. Flavour notes include balanced notes of arugula, almond, and radicchio.
This Extra Virgin Olive Oil leaves you with a persistent long lasting green pepper note.
It is to lavishly used as a finishing oil to elevate, enhance, and add structure to your dishes.
Each bottle (500mL) is to be consumed within 4-6 weeks of opening, however when kept unopened in a cool and dry place, it will retain most of its composition for up to 1.5 years.
